Beta Sigma Fraternity was established in 1966 at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. It is a social, cultural, philanthropic, and voluntary service organization for Nigerian university graduates and undergraduates, dedicated to the pursuit of Excellence.
The Abuja Chapter is one of the Graduate Chapters of Beta Sigma. It engages in community service, charitable projects, social and cultural events, and capacity building workshops. Members collaborate to promote the fraternity’s core values and execute development initiatives in the Federal Capital Territory.
Membership is open to undergraduates and graduates of University of Nigeria. Undergraduate members are inducted after a year of mentorship and training, while graduates are absorbed into local Graduate Chapters, such as the Abuja Chapter, to continue service and uphold the culture of Excellence.
